I explore the world around me in images. I analyze and consider the human condition. I record, rescuing fugitive images from obscurity and save them in some kind of visual imagery - chalk pastels, watercolours, oils, acrylics, collage or photos.

I paint what I find funny, or beautiful, or simply something that fits into an archetypal pattern. I like layers of meaning. I like to preserve images of everyday life, such as laundry or credit cards in plastic; people doing ordinary tasks.

You will find some of the images very different from the others. I made a decision to to explore, to experiment, to translate, metamorphose and to dream. I think of myself as a conceptual artist; but in between the series that deal with deep introspective issues, I do landscapes and other lighter themes. I have a deep need to express my world through art in its many manifestations.
